Death of Osama Bin Laden

The death of Osama Bin Laden is being met with cheers and celebration all across the United States.  I am not usually one who believes in retribution.  However, I can't help but feel some elation that this evil man is dead.

This is an emotional night because this announcement dredges up so many feelings for me.  When it's all said and done this outcome does not change the fact that over 3000 innocent people, including by best friend Angie, lost their lives at his hands.  I wish that his death could bring them back.

I can only hope and pray that this will not lead to retribution and any additional loss of life.

Congratulations to the US Military and intelligence officials who have fought this fight for almost 10 years.
